The Gods' Use of Nuclear and Chemical Weapons on Earth for their Civil War

The lament of the great Enki, first son of Anu, ruler of Nibiru (the presumed 12th planet): "There is deep sorrow in me, lamentations that fill my heart with pain. How the land has been struck, its people delivered to the Wind of Evil. The barns are abandoned, the corrals empty. Cities razed to the ground, their inhabitants piled up like lifeless bodies, struck by the Wind of Evil. Fields are devastated, plants withered by the Wind of Evil. The rivers are polluted, nothing swims in them anymore, their clear waters are covered with mud."

People with black hair Shumerand all the inhabitants left; their cattle and their sheep Shumer's emptying; the sound of the gushing column is silent. Only the wind howls now in their great city; the only smell is death. Emptied by their gods, the temple whose head soared to the sky. Gone is the lordly and kingly command; gone are the scepter and the crown. The banks of the two great rivers (Tigris and Euphrates), once lush and life-giving, are overgrown with weeds. No one is on the main roads, no one is looking for the way; no one is looking for Shumer a desolate desert. What a blow to the land, the home of gods and men.

A disaster unknown to mankind has fallen upon that country. A scourge that mankind had never seen before, and if it had, it would not have survived. From west to east, the devastating authority of terror settled over the land. The gods in their cities were as helpless as men. A storm, a Wind of Evil, was born on a distant plain, placing the Great Cataclysm in its path. A wind born in the west and spreading death turned its path eastward, its course determined by fate. A storm devouring like a deluge, washing not with water but with wind; drowning not with tidal waves but with poisonous air.

It was created by fate, not destiny; the great Gods in the assembly caused the Great Cataclysm. Enlil (Anu's 2nd son) and Ninharsag (Enlil's first wife, the first mother) allowed it; I was the only one who begged for it to stop. Day and night I gave them evidence to accept what the sky commanded, but in vain! Enlil's warrior son Ninurta and my own son Nergal they first poisoned and then released the weapons on the Great Plain. Now they weep bitterly because they did not know that the Wind of Evil would follow the brightness.

Who could have foreseen that the deadly storm would rise in the west and turn its path eastward, the Gods now groan. The gods in their holy city, the Wind of Evil Shumerand they looked on in disbelief. One after another, the gods fled their cities, abandoning their temples to the wind. As the poisonous clouds approached, my city Eriduthere was nothing I could do to stop it. I instructed the people to flee to the open steppes; my wife Ninki and I left town.

City Nippurat the site of the Sky-Earth Vineyard Enlil there was nothing he could do to stop it. The Wind of Evil NippurEnlil and his wife got into the heavenly boat and hurried away. In the kingly city of Shumer in Ur, Nannar called out to his father Enlil for help. On the site of the temple with seven steps up to heaven, Nannar refused to heed the authority of fate. Turn back the Wind of Evil, prayed my father, the great God who gave Ur the kingdom, my father, my cause Nannar.

Great God, ordainer of fortune, do not spare Ur and its people so that they may continue to praise you, Nannar begged. Enlil answered Nannar his son: Noble son, your great city was offered a kingdom, but not an eternal reign. Take your wife Ningal by the arm and flee from the city! Even I, who ordain fortunes, cannot bend the fate of the city. My brother Enlil that's how he spoke; alas, alas, this was not fate. It was the greatest catastrophe since the flood that befell the Gods and the Earthlings; alas, it was not fate!

The nuclear and chemical attack is actually against Marduk,

Parliament Decides Accordingly

The Great Flood was destined, but the Great Cataclysm that came with the death-dealing cloud was not. It was caused by a broken oath and a decision made in the assembly; it was created by the Weapons of Terror. The poisoned weapons were unleashed not because of fate, but because of a decision; the dice were rolled deliberately. The two sons turned their destruction against Marduk, my first son; their hearts were filled with vengeance. It is not Marduk's right to ascend to the throne, cried Enlil's first son; I will oppose him with weapons, said Ninurta.

He raised up an army of men, and Babylon (Babylon) The navel of the world, he declared! Marduk's brother Nergal. In the assembly of the great gods poisonous words spread from mouth to mouth. Day and night I raised my voice in opposition, I preached peace, I took no part in the alarm. Men raised his celestial image a second time, why does this opposition continue, I implored. Have all the devices been checked? In the heavens MardukI asked him once more, "Hasn't the age of the Lord come and gone?

My own son Ningishzidda interpreted the signs of heaven differently; MardukI knew that in his heart he had never forgiven her for the injustice she had done to him. Enlil's son born on Earth Nannar and he showed no mercy. I'm not going to build my temple Marduk he made a dwelling for himself. Enlil's youngest son Ishkur demanded punishment; he had forced the people of my land to follow him. Nannar's son Ututhe wrath of Marduk's son Nabuto the Celestial Chariots: Celestial Chariots tried to take over the place.

Utu's twin Inanna He was most angry of all; he still demanded that Marduk be punished for killing his beloved Dumuzi (July). Mother of gods and humans Ninharsag he averted his gaze: Why isn't Marduk here, he just said. My own son Gibil He replied with pessimism: Marduk has set aside all entreaties; he has asserted his supremacy according to the signs of the heavens! This Marduk can only be stopped with weapons, cried Ninurta, the first son of Enlil. Utu was concerned to protect the location of the heavenly chariots; they must not fall into Marduk's hands, he said.

Nergal, lord of the Lower Zone, has been demanding savagely: Let these old weapons of Terror be used to destroy. I looked at my own son with incredulous eyes: Had brother sworn falsely that he would not use the weapons of terror against brother? Instead of consent, there was silence. In the silence Enlil opened his mouth: Punishment must be meted out; the evildoers must be turned into wingless birds. Marduk and Nabu deprives us of our inheritance; let them also be deprived of the place of the Chariots of the Sky!

"Let's burn that place to the ground," he shouted. Ninurta"Let me be the scorcher!" Excited Nergal he stood up and shouted: "The cities of the wicked must also be overthrown. Let me destroy the cities of sin; let me henceforth be called the Destroyer. The Earthlings created by us must not be harmed; the righteous must not burn with the wicked," I thundered. My helper in creation Ninharsag and he agreed; the matter should be settled only between the gods, no harm should come to human beings.

Anu is making the final decision: Let the weapons of terror be used!

Celestial abode Anu listening attentively to these discussions. Anu, the decider of fortunes, made her voice heard from the Celestial Place: "Let the Weapons of Terror be used just this once, let the rocket ships be destroyed, let no human beings be spared." This is how Enlil announced the decision:"NinurtaScorching, scorching and Nergal and the Destroyer. I will reveal to them the secret of the gods; I will show them where the weapons of terror are hidden." The two sons, one mine and one his, were called into Enlil's inner chamber. Nergal he looked away as he walked past me.

Alas, I cried out silently, brother will shoot brother! Was it destined to be a repetition of previous times? Enlil was revealing to them an ancient secret; he was putting the Weapons of Terror in their hands. They unleashed a brilliance covered in terror; everything they touched turned to dust. They had sworn falsely that brother would not stand against brother in the world, that no territory would be harmed. The oath was broken, shattered into useless pieces like a broken jar. Filled with exuberant joy, the two sons hurried out of Enlil's chamber and set off for the weapons. The other gods returned to their cities; none of them had a premonition of their own cataclysm.

Planet of the Gods Nibiru

Now this is a time of previous times and Weapons of Terror story. Before the Earlier Times there was the beginning; after the Earlier Times there were the Old Times. In the old times the gods came to Earth and formed the Earthlings. In the previous times none of the gods were on Earth, the Earthlings had not yet been formed. In the Old Times, the home of the gods was on their own planet; it was called Nibiru. It is a large planet, reddish in color Nibirumakes a long orbit around the Sun.

For a while Nibiru cold; for the other half of its orbit, the Sun heats it strongly. Nibiru is surrounded by a thick atmosphere, constantly fed by volcanic eruptions. This atmosphere supports life of all kinds; without it there would be only death! During its cold period, it keeps Nibiru's internal heat around the planet like a warm coat that is constantly replenished. In the hot season, it shields Nibiru from the scorching rays of the Sun. It catches and releases rains right in its center, swelling lakes and streams. Our atmosphere nourishes and protects lush vegetation, causing all kinds of life to flourish in its waters and soils.

Dates of the Annunaki on their home planet

After many, many eons, our species sprouted; an eternal seed that would reproduce by our own essence. As our numbers grew, our ancestors Nibiruspread to many parts of the world. Some tilled the soil, some shepherded four-legged creatures. Some lived in the mountains, some made their homes in the valleys. Rivalries arose; some came too close to the borders, there were clashes, sticks became weapons. Tribes gathered into tribes and then two great nations faced each other. The northern nation took up arms against the southern nation.

Planetary war and peacemaking on Nibiru

Things held in the hand became missiles launched; weapons that thundered and shone increased the terror. A long and fierce war raged across the planet, brother against brother, piling up and piling up. There was death and destruction in both north and south. For many rounds destruction reigned in the land; all life was extinguished. Then a truce was declared; then peace negotiations began. Let the nations unite, the envoys said to each other. Let there be one man on the throne of Nibiru, a king to rule over all. A king from the north and the south, to be chosen by lot, a king who will be supreme.

Establishing a Kingdom on Nibiru

If he is from the north, let him take a queen from the south as his consort. If he is chosen from the south, by lot, let his consort be a woman from the north. They shall be man and wife and they shall be one flesh. Their firstborn son shall be heir to the throne, so that a united dynasty shall be established Nibiru on which unity will be established forever. Peace began in the midst of the ruins. North and south were united in marriage. The royal throne united in one body, an unbroken line of kingdoms was established.

The first king after peace was a warrior of the north, a valiant commander. He was chosen by honest and fair lot; his proclamation of unity was accepted. He built a great city for his dwelling; it was called Agagewas, meaning unity. For his reign he was bestowed with a royal title; AnThis meant the Heavenly One. By force he restored order in all the lands; he proclaimed laws and rules. He appointed governors for each country; their first job was to rebuild and make it fit for agriculture.

In the royal annals, he was referred to as An who united the countries, who made peace on Nibiru. He built a new city, repaired the canals, provided food for the people, and the land was fertile. For a wife he chose a girl from the south, a girl renowned for both her love and her warrior skills. An.Tu was a royal title; An's wife, the leader. This name was given to him very wisely. AnShe gave birth to three sons and a daughter. Her first son An.Ki and named it An. Through An, meaning A Firm Foundation.

The son remained alone on the throne; the choice of a wife was postponed twice. During his reign, concubines were brought to the palace; he could not have a son. This is how the dynasty started, An.Ki's death; according to the rule, he had no son to ascend the throne. The middle son, though not the first, was declared the rightful heir. He was one of three brothers, and from his youth his mother had affectionately referred to him as the middle one. Ib he used to say. According to the royal annals An.Ib heavenly in the kingdom and heavenly in the generations An's son.

He succeeded his father An on the throne of Nibiru, the third king to ascend the throne. He took his younger brother's daughter as his wife. She was called Nin.Ib, the wife of Ib. An.Ib had a son by Nin.Ib; he was the heir to the throne, the fourth of the kings, if we count. The royal title An.Şar.Gal meaning the prince of An is the greatest of princes. His half-sister, his wife Ki.Shar. Gal was equally named. Knowledge and understanding were the king's main ambitions. He studied the ways of the sky with great zeal.

The rules of succession in the Kingdom are confusing.

Meanwhile, Nibiru is making technological progress.

He investigated the grand tour of Nibiru; he fixed its length at one wine (3600 years). NibiruThis was the measure of a year of 'Shah'; the royal reigns were to be counted and recorded in it. He divided Shar into ten parts and declared two festivals to be celebrated henceforth. The festival of heat was to be celebrated when the sun was closest to its circumference. Nibiru when he reached the farthest corner, the feast of the cold would be proclaimed. All the old festivals of the tribes and nations were replaced by two festivals that united the people. He established the laws of husband and wife, sons and daughters.

Because of the wars, the number of men had dwindled and women remained in the majority. He declared that a man could take more than one woman to know. According to the law, only one wife was to be chosen as the official wife and was to be called the first wife. According to the law, the first-born son was the successor of his father. Under these laws, confusion soon arose; if the first son was not born to the first wife, but the first wife later gave birth to a son, a man who would be the legal heir according to the law, who would ascend to the throne?

Wine Is it the firstborn son according to the number of wives? Is it the first son born to the first wife? Is it the first son? The legal heir? Who would inherit? Who would be his successor? During the reign of An.Shar.Gal, Ki.Şar.Gal was declared the first lady. She was one of the king's half-sisters. An.Şar.GalDuring the reign of the king, concubines were brought back to the palace. The concubines gave birth to sons and daughters to the king. The son born to one of them was the first born; the first son was born to a concubine. After that Ki.Şar.Gal she gave birth to a son.

By law, he was not the rightful heir; he was not the first son. In the palace Ki.Şar.Gal's voice rose, shouting in anger: If by law my son, born of a first wife, is to be barred from succession, let not the double seed be neglected! Though born of different mothers, the king and I are children of the same father. Therefore, my son, our father Anib's double seed. May the Law of the Seed henceforth prevail over the Law of the Spouse! Henceforth, whenever a son is born to a half-sister, may he prevail over all other sons in succession!

An.Şar.Gal He thought deeply and favored and adopted the law of the seed: This would avoid the confusion of wives and concubines, marriages and divorces. The royal advisors in the assembly adopted the Law of the Seed for succession. By order of the king, the scribes recorded this order. Thus, the next king to ascend the throne according to the Law of the Seed was proclaimed. He was given the royal title An.Şar He was called He was the fifth king to ascend the throne. Now this one, An.Şar's reign and the kings who followed him.

Nibiru's Climate is Changing,

The atmosphere is damaged and salvation is sought on other planets

When the law changed, the other princes agreed. They grumbled but did not rebel. An.Şar took his half-sister as his wife. He made her First Mistress; Ki.Shar to be called by his name. So the dynasty continued with this law. During Ashar's reign, the produce of the fields became poor, and the fruit and grain became less abundant. The heat increased as they approached the sun from round to round; the coolness was more intense in the distant dwelling. City of the throne Agadethe king gathered together those of great understanding.

Learned scholars with great knowledge were commanded to question. They examined the land and the soil, tested the lakes and streams. It had happened before, some of them replied: Nibiru had become cooler or warmer in the past. Nibiru's tour had a destiny. Other knowledgeable observers of the orbit did not think to blame Nibiru's fate. What they found was that there had been a breakdown in the atmosphere. Volcanoes, the progenitors of the atmosphere, were spewing out less smoke. Nibiru's air had thinned; the protective shield had weakened and weakened.

An.Şar and Ki.SharIn the reign of 'Umar, the fields were plagued by disease, no matter how hard they tried, it was in vain. Their son En.Şar then took the throne; he was the sixth king of the dynasty. His name came to mean the Great Lord of Shar. Born with great understanding, he learned much and gained much knowledge. He sought ways to remedy troubles; he studied the celestial circuit of Nibiru. In the loop he drew, he embraced the five members of the solar family, those planets of dazzling beauty.

To find a cure for troubles En.Şar to study their atmospheres. He gave each a name and honored their ancestors; he thought of them as celestial pairs. The first two encountered, the planets resembling twins. An and Antu he said. Beyond Nibiru's tour, the largest in size Anshar (Saturn) and Kishar (Jupiter). The one who wandered among the others like a messenger Gaga (Pluto); sometimes Nibiru encountered it first. As it orbits the sun Nibiru's greeters were five in all.

Beyond it, as if it were a border, the Forged Bracelet (the asteroid belt between Earth and Jupiter) revolved around the Sun. It guarded him as if it were the guardian of the forbidden region of the sky, full of catastrophes. The other children of the Sun numbered four, and the bracelet was their shield against intruders. En.Şar the atmospheres of the quintet that came out to meet them. In repeated rounds, these were carefully scanned across the five loops of Nibiru.

Earth is being explored and Nibiru's atmosphere is getting worse every day

What kind of atmospheres they have were observed and intensively studied with celestial cars. The findings were mind-boggling, the discoveries baffling. Round after round, the deterioration of Nibiru's atmosphere grew worse. In the assemblies of scholars, remedies were eagerly discussed, ways to heal the wound were hastily considered. A new shield to embrace the planet was attempted; all that was thrown up came down to the ground. In the councils of the wise, erupting volcanoes were examined.

The atmosphere had been formed by erupting volcanoes; the scar was caused by their eruptions weakening. Let's invent something to stimulate new eruptions, to make the volcanoes spew again, a group of scholars said. None of them could give the king any information on how to do it, on the means by which the eruption would be achieved. En.ŞarDuring his reign the breach in the heavens grew wider. The rains stopped; the wind blew harder; the springs could not rise from the depths.

There was a curse on the land; the breasts of the mothers had dried up. There was unrest in the palace; the curse had taken hold there too. En.Şar chose a half-sister for his first wife, as the Law of the Seed commanded. Nin.Şar they called her, the Lady of Shar. She could not bear a son. He was born to a concubine, En. Shar's son; he was the first son. His first wife and half-sister Nin.ŞarHe could not have a son by her. According to the law of succession, the concubine's son ascended the throne, the seventh king of the reign. Royal title Du.Uru was; meaning that which is formed in the dwelling.

She was not really conceived in the palace but in the concubines' residence. Du.Uru he took for his wife a girl he had loved since his youth; the First Lady was chosen out of love, not because of her seed. Royal title Du.Uru it meant "The Woman Who Was With Me". There was much confusion in the palace. Sons were not heirs, wives were not half-sisters. Suffering was increasing in the land. The fields forgot fertility, fertility among the people diminished. There was no fertility in the palace, neither sons nor daughters were born. Seven rulers of An's seed had come and gone, but then his seed on the throne dried up.

Gold dust is said to be the answer to saving the atmosphere

Du.Uru found a child at the entrance of the palace; he embraced him as his son. At last Du.Uru and adopted him as a son, declared him the rightful heir and gave him Lahma it means dryness. At court, the princes grumbled; the Council of Counselors complained. At last Lahma ascended the throne, An's seed, but he became the eighth king. In the councils of the learned, there were two proposals to heal the breach. One was to use a metal called gold. On Nibiru this metal was scarce; in the interior of the Forged Bracelet (the asteroid belt in the section after Earth) it was abundant.

It was the only substance that could be beaten to the finest powder; it could be transported high into the sky and suspended in the air. Thus, the breach would be closed with repeated refills, the better it would protect. May sky boats be built, may a celestial fleet bring the gold to Nibiru! Let us create Weapons of Terror, others said, weapons that will shake and loosen the earth, that will tear mountains apart. Let us attack the volcanoes with missiles, stimulate their inertia so that their eruptions increase, the atmosphere regenerates, the breach disappears!

Lahma was too weak to decide; he didn't know which one to choose. Nibiru completed one round, Nibiru kept counting two. The trouble in the fields did not diminish. The eruption of the volcanoes did not repair the atmosphere. The third round passed, the fourth was being counted. The gold had not been recovered. Strife increased in the land; food and water were scarce. Unity broke down in the country; accusations grew more and more. Scholars were coming in and out of the palace; advisers were constantly going in and out. The king paid no heed to their words; his name Lahma he was just listening to his wife.

Lahma leaves it to fate, reactions grow, rebellion begins

If this is fate, said the woman, let us pray to the Great Creator of All Things. The only hope is in supplication, not action! At court the princes were growing restless, directing their accusations against the king. Instead of a remedy, he is unwisely, unreasonably calling for greater calamities! Weapons were taken out of the old storerooms; rebellion was the most talked about thing. The first to take up arms was a prince in the palace. He made promises and incited the other princes; his name was Alalu. No more Lahma as king, he shouted. Let decision replace indecision!

Come, let us shake the king's confidence in his place; let us make him give up the throne! The princes heeded his words and rushed to the palace gates; they swarmed into the throne room like the waters into his forbidden entrance. The king fled to the palace tower; Alalu pursued him. There was a battle in the tower and Lahma fell from the tower and died. Lahma is no more, shouted Alalu. The king is dead! Alalu rushed to the throne room and set himself on the throne. Without right or parliamentary decree, he declared himself king. Unity was lost in the country; some rejoiced at Lahma's death, others regretted what Alalu had done.

The battle for kingship continues on Nibiru, Alalu becomes king

Now this is the story of Alalu's kingdom and the journey to Earth. Unity was lost in the country, many people were damaged in the kingdom. In the palace the princes were in turmoil, in the council the counselors were upset. From An onwards, successors ascended the throne, from father to son; even Lahma, the eighth, was declared an adopted son. Who was Alalu? Was he the rightful heir, the First Son? By what right had he seized it, was he not a murderer of kings? Alalu was summoned before the judging sevens; there his fate would be decided.

I am descended from Anshargal, he claimed before the judges. My ancestor was his son, Alam, born to a concubine. Alam was the first son; the throne belonged to him. The queen who conceived threw away his rights. She made the law of the seed out of nothing, and gave her own son the kingdom. She deprived Alam of the kingdom; instead she gave it to her son.

I am a descendant of Alam; the seed of Anshargal is in me. The judging seven listened attentively to Alalu's words and referred the matter to the council of counselors to determine whether it was true or fabricated. The royal annals were brought from the House of Records and read with great care. The first royal couple were An and Antu; they had three sons and no daughters. The first son was Anki, who died on the throne and had no children. The middle son succeeded him on the throne; his name was Anib.

Anshargal He was his first son; he was on the throne. The rule of the first son succeeding him did not last; the law of succession was replaced by the law of the seed. The first son was the son of a concubine; according to the law of the seed, he was deprived of the kingdom. Kingdom Kishargal's son; she was the king's half-sister, that was why. The annals did not mention the concubine's son, the first son. I am her descendant, Alalu cried out to the advisors. By the law of succession the kingdom belonged to her; by the law of succession the kingdom is now mine.

Questionable advisors Alaluto swear an oath of truth. Alalu swore by the living and the dead; the assembly now regarded him as king. They called the elders and gathered the princes; in their presence they announced the decision. A young prince stood out among the princes; he wanted to say a few words about the kingdom. Succession must be reconsidered, he said to those assembled. Though I am neither the first son nor the son born of a queen, I am of pure seed. The essence of An is preserved in me, no concubine has diluted it.

The counselors were listening in amazement to his words; the young prince approached a little closer to those gathered. They asked him his name. Anu; I was named after my grandfather An. They inquired about his genealogy and he reminded them that An had three sons. Anki was the first son; he died without a son or daughter. Anib was the middle son; he succeeded Anki on the throne. Anib took his younger brother's daughter as his wife; their lineage was recorded in the annals. An and AntuWho was this youngest son, born of one of the purest seeds?

The counselors looked at each other curiously. Enuru was his name, Anu told them; he was my ancestor. His wife Ninuru was his half-sister, and his son was the first son; they called his name Enema. His wife was also his half-sister, and she bore Enema a son according to the law of seed and succession. The generations came from this pure lineage, the lineage that was perfect according to the law and the seed. My parents gave me the name Anu, honoring the name of our ancestor An; we were deposed from the throne, but not from the pure seed of An!

Many advisors shouted, "King Anu ola! Alalu be dismissed! Others said to be cautious. Let's avoid strife, let's not break unity. They summoned Alalu and told him what they had discovered. Alalu extended his embracing arm to prince Anu and said to Anu, "Though we are descended from different sons, we are descended from one ancestor. Let us live together in peace so that abundance and prosperity may return to Nibiru. I will remain on the throne and you will be my successor. Then he addressed the assembly. Let Anu be the heir, let him be my successor.

Alalu also fails, Anu takes the throne

Let his son take my daughter as his wife and unite the succession. Anu bowed respectfully before the assembly and announced to those assembled. I will be Alalu's sachem, his waiting successor, and one of my sons will take one of his daughters as a wife. That was the decision of the assembly; it was written in the royal annals. That is how Alalu stayed on the throne. He gathered sages, scholars and commanders and consulted with them; he used a lot of wisdom to make decisions. The sky boats would be built, he decided; they would be built in the forged bracelet (the asteroid belt in the next chapter on earth).

The boats were smashed and crushed in the forged bracelet; none returned. Again he commanded, "Let the weapons of terror cut open the depths of Nibiru, let the volcanoes erupt again. The chariots that ascended into the sky were armed with weapons of terror; the missiles of terror shot from the skies struck the volcanoes. The mountains shook and the valleys trembled as the great flashes exploded with thunderous thunder. There were many rejoicing in the land; there was expectation of abundance. In the palace Anu was the sake of Alalu.

He fell at Alalu's feet and placed the cup of liquor in Alalu's hand. Alalu was the king; he treated Anu like a servant. The rejoicers in the land had diminished, the rains had not yet come, the wind had become harsh. The eruptions of the volcanoes did not increase, the breach in the atmosphere did not close. In the skies Nibiru continued on its course, round and round, the heat and cold becoming more and more unbearable. The people of Nibiru no longer honored their king; instead of providing relief, he made them miserable.

Alalu remained on his throne. Anu, the foremost among the princes, strong and wise, stood before him. He fell at Alalu's feet and placed the cup of drink in Alalu's hand. Alalu was king on Nibiru for nine counted periods. On the ninth, Anu declared war on Alalu. Naked, unarmed, fist to fist, he challenged Alalu. Let the winner be king, said Anu. They grappled with each other in the middle of the square; the door jambs and walls shook. Alalu bent his knees; he fell face down on the ground.

Alalu escapes to Earth in his ship

Alalu was defeated in this fight; Anu was applauded and proclaimed king. While Anu was escorted to the palace by a convoy, Alalu did not return to the palace. He slipped away from the crowds; he was afraid of dying like Lahma. Unbeknownst to anyone, he rushed to the place of the sky chariots. Alalu climbed into a missile-launching chariot and closed the hatch behind him. He entered the front room and took the commander's seat. He illuminated the pathfinder, stirring the fire stones as a bluish glow filled the room, their humming mesmerizing like music.

He revived the great flare of the chariot; it emitted a reddish glow. Unbeknownst to anyone, Alalu escaped from Nibiru in his sky ship. Alalu set course for the snow-colored Earth, a destination he had chosen because of a secret from the beginning.
